Terms and Conditions
of Registration and Participation
in XX Simposio Polaco-Mexicano (4-6 July 2016)
§1
By registering at www.xxsimposio.uw.edu.pl you declare your participation in the XX Simposio Polaco-Mexicano (here in after: “XX Simposio”).
§2
The conference is exclusively educational and academic in nature, related to the participants’ specialisations.
§3
Participants confirm their involvement in the conference by payment of a conference fee in the following amounts:
payment by 1 June2016
participant: 200 EUR or 220 USD
accompanying persons: 90 EUR or 100 USD
Conference fees are paid to the University of Warsaw (UW).
§4
Participants can make payment to UW by bank transfer to the account number indicated by the conference organizer, or by Visa and Master Card credit or debit card. Credit card payments are processed by PayU S.A.
§5
The conference fees minus bank charges will be refunded if notification of cancellation is received before 31 May 2016.
After 31 May 2016, but not later than 15 June 2016, the fees refunded will be reduced by 50EUR. After 15 June 2016, no refunds will be made. All returns will be made within 4 weeks from the date of closing of the conference. The funds will be returned to the card used to make the payment.
All complaints will be dealtwith within two weeks of their receipt in writing.
§6
Participants may not transfer any rights or responsibilities a rising from these Terms and Conditions to third parties without the prior consent of the conference organizer.
§7
Any matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are regulated by Polish civil code.
§8
Disputes will besettled by arbitration. Should a settlement not be reached, the dispute will be referred to the court in whose territorial jurisdiction the organizer resides.
§9
Participants will be informed of all changes and additions to the Terms and Conditions in writing.
§10
Participants’ data, collected duringon-line registration will be stored by the University of Warsaw, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, Warsaw,
TIN 525-001-12-66, REGON 000001258,
in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Dziennik Ustaw 2002 Nr 101, art. 926 with later amendments) for the purposes of completing this agreement. The data is provided freely, but is required for participation in the conference. Participants have the right to access their data and to amend it.
